Frequently Asked Questions.
At Educatta, we believe great education shouldn’t be hard to find — or afford.
We’ve built a trusted community of high achievers, experienced teachers, and subject-matter experts who don’t just know the content — they know how to teach it. Whether it’s ATAR prep or foundational support, you’ll be learning from people who’ve walked the path and know how to help you succeed.
And unlike traditional agencies, we keep things fair. Our tutors are often 30% more affordable than average — not because they’re any less qualified, but because we take less. Our industry-leading commission model means more goes to the tutor, and less comes out of your pocket.
The result?
Better tutors. Lower prices. Real support.
At Educatta, we’re selective — because your child deserves the best. Every tutor is handpicked based on subject expertise, teaching ability, and character.
- High-achieving graduates who scored ATARs of 90+ in their chosen subjects and know exactly what it takes to succeed.
- University students studying education, equipped with both subject knowledge and teaching theory — perfect for students who need a nurturing, structured approach.
- And in some cases, qualified teachers and professionals with deep expertise in their field.
Each tutor is trained, verified, and passionate about helping students thrive — academically and personally.
No two students learn the same — and we treat them that way.
At Educatta, our tutors are trained to identify each student’s strengths, learning style, and areas for growth. Whether your child needs visual explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, or confidence-building support, our tutors adapt their approach to meet them where they are.
We regularly track progress, adjust teaching methods based on real-time feedback, and always make sure the student feels heard, supported, and understood.
Because effective tutoring isn’t just about what’s taught — it’s how it’s taught.
You’ll receive an update after every single session.
At Educatta, we have a strict commitment to transparency and communication. After each class, your tutor will send a session summary outlining what was covered, how your child is progressing, and where they might need extra support.
These updates highlight both the concepts your child is excelling in and the areas that need further attention — so you’re always in the loop, every step of the way.
The best time to start tutoring? Before they start falling behind.
At Educatta, we believe tutoring isn’t just for students who are struggling — it’s for any child who wants to feel more confident, stay ahead, and reach their full potential.
Early intervention helps tackle tricky concepts before they become long-term challenges. The sooner we begin supporting your child, the more we can build a strong foundation for success — from the early years all the way to Year 12.
We offer both online and in-person tutoring across Australia — so you can choose what works best for your child and your lifestyle.
In-person availability depends on your location and specific needs, but whether you’re in the city or a remote area, we’ll do our best to match you with a tutor nearby. Sessions can be held at a local library, in the comfort of your home, or anywhere that feels right for you.
That said, our tutors are also highly experienced in online learning — with years of virtual teaching under their belt. Many families find online sessions just as effective, flexible, and convenient.
Whichever you choose, the quality stays the same — personalised, engaging, and results-driven.
It depends on your child’s needs, current level, and academic goals — but consistency is key.
Research from Evidence for Learning (2020) shows that two sessions per week, totalling around 2–2.5 hours, leads to the greatest improvement in younger and primary-aged students.
For high school students — especially those in Years 11–12 — longer, more focused sessions of 1.5 to 2 hours once or twice a week are often more effective.
Our tutors will help recommend a schedule that fits your child’s learning style, goals, and availability — ensuring they get the support they need, without burnout.
