English or English Literature? We teach both, in small classes (max 10), led by experienced ATAR grads who sat the same papers.
In WA, ATAR English splits into two SCSA courses: English (the broad, persuasive/imaginative/interpretive course most students take) and English Literature (deeper textual analysis, poetry, and critical theory). Picking the right subject for how you read and write matters more than picking the harder one. Below, the side-by-side, then a deeper page for each.
