What does Educatta's 100% money-back guarantee actually cover?
It covers the full tuition fees you've paid Educatta for a single ATAR subject across two consecutive terms in Perth (Bentley, Canning Vale or live online). If your student sticks to our recommended plan for those 20 weeks and none of their marks have improved, in any of their Educatta in-class assessments or at school for the subject, we refund every cent paid for that subject. No clawback, no admin fee, no fine print, just the money back.
How does the guarantee work? What are the conditions?
Three conditions, all simple. (1) Your student is enrolled in the same ATAR subject for two consecutive Educatta terms. (2) They attend at least 90% of scheduled classes. (3) They complete the recommended workbook chapters and at-home practice their tutor sets each week. Meet those three, and if their marks have not improved in any of their Educatta classes or at school for the subject, you qualify. See pricing for what two terms looks like.
What counts as "attending lessons" for the guarantee?
Attending means being present (in-person at our Perth centres or live on camera online) for at least 18 of the 20 scheduled sessions across the two terms. Up to two absences per term (for school camps, illness or family commitments) are fine, provided you give reasonable notice and the student catches up via the recorded session or assigned workbook chapter before the next class.
When can I claim a refund? Is there a deadline?
Yes. You have 2 weeks from the last day of your second term with us to lodge a claim. We hold your Educatta in-class assessment results in our system. To complete the comparison, you supply your most recent school subject average and your most recent school report grade for the subject. Claims made after 2 weeks fall outside the guarantee window.
What if my mark goes up but not by enough?
The guarantee triggers on no measurable improvement, not on hitting a target ATAR, and the trigger is broad. If none of your marks have improved across your Educatta in-class assessments or your school results for the subject between term 1 and the end of term 2, you qualify. Only if at least one mark has moved up does the guarantee not apply, in which case the method is working and we'll usually recommend continuing for a third term or adding a paid 1-on-1 top-up alongside the group class.
Does the guarantee apply to live online students as well as Bentley/Canning Vale?
Yes, with identical terms. Online ATAR students sit in the same Perth-based class as in-person students, with the same tutor and workbook, so the guarantee applies in exactly the same way. Whether you're at our Bentley centre, Canning Vale centre, or joining live from anywhere in Western Australia, the two-term, 90%-attendance, no-measurable-improvement promise is the same.
Is there support outside of the weekly classes too?
Yes. Every Educatta student is paired with a dedicated learning advisor: a senior tutor or centre director. They run a one-on-one planning session at the start of each term to build your custom study plan, then stay on call via group chat for the rest of the term, adjusting the plan, prepping you for upcoming tests, and answering questions between classes. The advisor is part of why our guarantee works: students who use the system get the marks. Included in every package, no extra fee.
How do I claim a refund if I qualify?
Email learn@educatta.com within 2 weeks of the last day of your second term with the subject line "Money-back claim: [student name]". Attach a copy of your most recent school report and (if you have it) the subject average from your school's reporting system, so we can compare them against the Educatta in-class assessment results we hold. We respond within 5 business days with either a confirmed refund (paid within 14 days) or a written breakdown of which condition wasn't met, with the underlying data. If you disagree, it escalates to a founder for a final call. Book a free trial to start.
